A.A Emery Energy and Petroleum Consultancy is an independent advisory firm based in Ghana with a wide network of partners across Africa. They focus on energy investments in Africa and energy regulation and policy in developing economies. I was tasked with designing and creating a web presence which worked across multiple platforms with the main aim of advising businesses and professionals of the services they offer.

A design style was agreed upon early in the process. Minimal and clear, with the services they offered being the main focal point. We started by looking at similar consultancy websites to get an idea or what their approach was, and how they described their products.

Having gathered enough knowledge from the research stage we discussed and explored layouts using wireframe sketches before proceeding to create design visuals.

The design visuals retained our initial thoughts for the website, keeping it clean and focused around the services. Once we established the look, we built it into a functional website integrated with the WordPress Content Management System. A training session was then delivered to give them the skills they required to update the website going forward.

Together we created a website that fulfilled A.A Emery’s requirements. The site focused clearly on the services they provided and gave them the ability to update and change the content as and when they liked. Social media was integrated to help them establish an audience which they could continuously engage with.

Since the launch of the website A.A Emery has had a lot of success, working on a range of projects around the world.
